Have you undergone an HIV test? To the majority of Zambians the answer is no. However anti-AIDS groups in the country have realised that people who know their HIV status live longer than those who are ignorant.

The Humana People to People project under DAPP has embarked on the task of stopping HIV/AIDS and is encouraging Copperbelt residents to undergo an HIV test to establish their status. The centre situated on Luneta road in Ndola's Northrise residential area is offering counselling to HIV positive victims. The victims are being taught how to live positively by adhering to the five key elements which include, diet, seeking medication, exercising, having a positive mind and refraining from sex.
