That opportunity is getting closer, thanks to the efforts of a Danish non-governmental organization, Development Aid from People to People (DAPP). DAPP helps build schools as part of the 22 projects it has run in Mozambique since it started working in the country in 1982. 

UNICEF has contributed US$50,000 to DAPP programmes assisting 1,200 children.
